Criminal Defense ranges from a traffic ticket, to a first degree murder charge.   I am an experienced trial attorney, and an experienced negotiator. I have been the defense attorney for many serious criminal cases.   In Yuma, many of these are Arizona drug busts at U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoints.  Drug possession and child molestation are very serious in Arizona.  Free consultation for Criminal cases.

DUI laws in Arizona have legal issues in some DUI cases that are being fought over in the higher Arizona courts, and this defense attorney is right in the middle of that fight! I prepare every case as if I am getting ready for trial even though my clients will be the ones to decide whether or not to do so.

In crininal cases, I negotiate to get the best possible plea offer if they choose to enter a change of plea. 

In Domestic-Family Law (Divorce/Custody) cases I work very hard to resolve the couples' issues with each other.  If there are children then, of course, the case becomes more complicated and more work may be needed with the entire family.  I am here to talk with my clients whenever they need me.

Domestic-Family Law (Divorce/Custody), as in juvenile law, involves complex family interactions. I emphasize to my Divorce and/or Custody clients the need to resolve issues among all family members without destroying their relationships forever.  I work with my clients in creating stability within their family circle, as much as possible, even in the face of divorce and/or custody disputes. 

Wills and Estates can also be sensitive issues. People tend to put them off for years - like my mother, for example!  In my experience clients call when there is a crisis - then these legal issues must be dealt with immediately.
